Project: The Future of Human Learning in the Age of AI
As the advancements in AI transforms the world of work and learning, it presents immense opportunities for how problems can be solved.
However, it also raises critical concerns around what areas of human learning is outsourced to AI and as a result becomes subdued, and what the implications of this might be for society in the future. It is on this basis that this project seeks to explore the Future of Human Learning in the Age of AI
Methodologically, it applies a systems perspective to capture interconnected views on the purpose of education, the role of learning within higher education in achieving that purpose, and the opportunities and risks that AI presents for deepening human learning and developing expert learners.
Framed as “A Conversation,” this research seeks to bridge the gap in communication and creation between learners, educators, industry leaders, AI innovators, and now, AI itself.
The study’s dialogue-centered approach will clarify both synergies and disconnects among these interest holders, providing a knowledge bank and possible road map for a future where human learning continues to thrive.
